Big Impact.

At Cheeky Duck, sustainability is woven into every part of our business. We are dedicated to being eco-friendly and carbon-neutral. Our 5-acre vineyard, home to Vidal, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Baco Noir, and Marquette varietals, is a haven for butterflies and bees.

Miniature South Down sheep and our lively runner ducks assist with grazing and pest control. Additionally, we are one of the few vineyards in the region that uses wine pruning as an energy source during the winter.

Meet Chef Josh

Michelin-trained, Josh Keepfer, the Head Chef and Founder of Cheeky Duck Vineyard, brings a delightful blend of international culinary experiences and charming finesse to the kitchen. Hailing from Wales, Josh has honed his skills in some of the world's most esteemed culinary destinations, including Venice, Italy; London, England; Charleston, USA; and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. With a background in award-winning restaurants, Josh is a true master of culinary artistry.

Josh, Chas, and their children Hadley, Finn, and Willa, all proudly call Lakefield, Ontario, home. We're deeply grateful for the support and appreciation from our wonderful customers and community. As a family-run business, we've been making mouths water since 2018.
